CASUAL DUTY OFFICERS (SPORT & FITNESS CENTRES)

We welcome applications to work at our Sport & Fitness Centres across the Borough on a casual basis. This could be for a short specified period or to cover on an adhoc basis when we have staff shortages. We have centres in Whitton, Twickenham, Teddington, Hampton and East Sheen.
As a Duty Officer you will report to the Assistant / Centre Manager and will help in the day to day operation of the Centre. Duties will include front of house reception work, supervising activities, organising and co-ordinating sports activity programmes, together with Health & Safety duties.
This is a great opportunity for sport/fitness students (who may still be studying) and other individuals to further their experience. Good communication and organisational skills are essential. A sport and /or fitness qualification, first aid qualification and some relevant experience would be desirable, but are not essential.
Working hours will be based on a shift pattern involving weekends and evenings.
Closing date for applications is 12 noon on 28 June 2012.
