ADULTS EMERGENCY DUTY TEAM (AEDT)
Kingston, Merton, Richmond and Sutton Service
The Adults Emergency Duty Team (AEDT) is looking to recruit a part time senior social worker to join the permanent team of 5 Senior Social Workers/AMHPs.
This team operates across the four London Boroughs of Kingston, Merton, Richmond and Sutton and is hosted by Richmond. It provides an emergency social work and homelessness service to all the adult user groups, including mental health.
The team works out of hours on a rota basis from 17:00 – 08:00 hours the next day and 24 hours at weekends and bank holidays. The team has a bank of 4 sessional workers who support the permanent staff. The sessional staff mainly cover 6 hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, alongside the duty social worker.
We are looking for an experienced AMHP who have a good understanding of safeguarding vulnerable adult as well as general care management skills. You will need to be confident in managing risk and able to work on your own in an often pressured environment.
Team members work from home with access via the web to the Richmond IT system. You will be provided the use of a computer at home. Full driving license and use of a car are also required.
